I came across this, a song by Angels and Airwaves – dedicated those involved in the current and seemingly never ending conflicts of the middle east. It depicts the current conflicts I’ve experienced throughout my 20’s.

9-11 means many things to me. It’s the start of a changing time. The day of my mothers diagnosis. It’s the war that has taken so much from people, including their loved ones. It’s the war the claimed an old friend high school friend, Jordan Anderson. People lock their doors now. Security is tight in public places and in travel. People live in fear. It’s a war for the struggle and balance and equality, something that may never be attained.
